about equal amount in both hands for me, just depends on what I'm doing. My hands are large enough so almost always 'use' the device with the hand that's holding it. I use Swype with both hands as well (again, normally with the hand that is holding the device). Occasionally when Swype isn't accurate I'll have to use both hands but that rarely happens with the new beta. As much as I used to love landscape mode after getting used to using the device with one hand I rarely go into landscape now.
You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe

Awesome! Glad to see I'm not the only one
For those of you curious, this is how I hold the phone and type (except, of course, with my left instead of right)
That's not me btw. Found it on the youtube
-
I hold mine in my left hand and type with my right unless in landscape mode.
-
i guess im a switch hitter, i usually use it in my right hand for text, browsing ect, but use it in my left for actual phone talking, but that's mainly due to my hearing is better in my left ear then right (decided to highdive from my highchair as a toddler and messed up my hearing in both ears)

I'm a lefty. But pretty ambidextrous with my phone. I can't use swype with my left though. In boxing, baseball, scissors, and chopsticks, I'm a righty. Everything else southpaw! Droid likes both my hands equally an I always use a lockcode that is easy to do with both.

i hold and type with my left hand i use the compact qwerty on better keyboard so its easier to type i was looking for a screen shot but no luck most people know about better keyboard tho

Never truly thought about it but I hold my baby Droid with both hands, because I love it so. I type with both hands. Whatever is convenient.
Apparently, my love for it is contagious because now two of my co-workers just brought theirs.
-
hmmmm.... never thought about that! I do indeed use my left to hold it, and right to navigate.
-
I use both hands so I won't trip over a crack ion the sidewalk
and drop my phone, but when sitting down, yes my Droid is favored by my left hand (coffee cup in the roght!!!)...
The statement below is true...
The statement above is false...
My other phone is 2 Progresso soup cans and a very long string!!!
