    DroidX themed handcent

    made this for a friend. if anyone is interested, feel free to give it a download

    its not a 1:1 clone but its pretty close

    to give it the closest look to the DX: in handcent settings, remove the contact picture, change the background colour to a dark grey and change the date colour, i like white

    DroidX on left. Handcent on right


    DOWNLOAD MOD FILES
    just drop the 'res' folder into your handcent .apk, resign and install/push to your phone

    DOWNLOAD MM FILE
    (BROKEN. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. WILL BE FIXED TOMORROW.)
    this is a MetaMorph file and should be installed in the following way
    0. unzip the .zip you downloaded to /sdcard/AndroidThemes
    1. move and rename /data/app/com.handcent.nextsms-1.apk to /system/app/handcent.apk
    2. open MetaMorph and select this theme
    3. no need to reboot, just open handcent

    oh this is amazing! finally. when i asked people before, they all said to change the bubble settings which only made it look like crap. this is awesome and working great here

    Also, make sure its set to Light and not black, otherwise you'll have the funny bottom bar like I had.

    hey, are you going to keep it updated for new versions? otherwise is there a way i can keep it updated myself? theres been a few handcent updates but i dont want to do them because i want to keep this theme.

    nope! but ill be sure to post all the modified files so anyone can just throw them in and have a DX themed handcent whenever a new update comes out
