Just wondering how this is in any way relevant to the Droid? Or any cellphone for that matter.
Thanks iPirate. Seems some of the folks in this forum just like to slam people rather than look for constructive feedback.
A Droid has a Micro SD slot - which can currently only hold a 32G SD card (since that's the max available).
This mention of a new 64G card on SDXC would give the Droid an additional 32G of memory (on top of the 32G already available).
I posted because it seems that additional memory would be of interest to some in the forum.
If you aren't interested, I'm not sure why you need to comment at all.
I have seen many cases of people in this forum just choosing to slam others because they post something that they don't agree with or that they don't see any value in. I really don't get why they choose to post anything rather than to just move on to the next thread.
Grow up.

This article is over a year old....64GB SD cards have been out for a while now. And its not really relevant to the Droid because these are SD cards, not microSD cards. As far as I know, there are no 64GB microSD cards out there yet.
I misread the date - my mistake.
